Spy recordings of the Mercedes-AMG C63 from 2019 have just been discovered. Both the sedan and coupe versions of the range were caught on camera during the tests.
The spy photos in Autocar Show the partially covered units. The enclosed areas indicate where the changes will take place in the cars. The little camouflage they have also means that we can only expect one facelift from the current generation of people C class.
If you look at the pictures, the AMG C63 sedan will be informed of the grille, the front and rear bumpers, and the headlights and taillights. On the other hand, the AMG C63 Coupe offers cosmetic changes to the grille and both bumpers. The revised four-door variant of the AMG C-Class will most likely use the same technology that the lighting system of its two-door sibling offers.
The source said the major improvements in both cars could come in their interior. Although it’s hard to see what’s in both cars in the photos we have now, the report claims that some semi-autonomous technologies found in the S-Class, like the more advanced adaptive cruise control and the lane departure warning system, the revised AMG C63 sedan and coupé models are made available. The car’s infotainment system is also kept up to date and has a new rotary control and a new touchpad.
The updated C63 sedan and coupe models may retain their 4.0 liter V8 engines. The overworked ones, however, could experience a small diminution in their strength. Currently each has an output of 469 hp.
The revised Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected to be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show next year. The AMG versions of the vehicles are therefore expected to arrive next spring. Both will wear a 2019 model year.
