The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet 2018 was presented by Daimler before its planned world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 next week. The car completes the range of the current generation of the E-Class.
Here are the special features of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet based on the Global media site of Daimler::
The E-Class Cabriolet follows the same set of gasoline and diesel engines as its Coupé sibling. The unit is coupled to the 9-speed automatic transmission 9G-TRONIC for all models of the convertible.
The E-Class Cabriolet has the same body styling elements as its coupe counterpart, with the exception of the soft soft roof and a stiffer A-pillar to make up for the lack of the B-pillar and C-pillar. The car is 123 mm longer, 74 mm wider and 30 mm higher than its predecessor. Its wheelbase is also 113mm longer than its older unit.
The E-Class generally offers a variety of interior design customization options for customers to choose the type of color and equipment for the vehicle. Here, too, the layout of the instrument cluster and the screen of the E-Class Cabriolet is the same as that of its coupé version. A special optional addition to the car is the Airscarf neck heater and the Aircap pull stop system, so that the occupants feel comfortable at low temperatures. The interior of the new convertible is more spacious than its predecessor.
