The new Mercedes-AMG G63 was revealed just earlier. The latest model of the Gelandewagen has a new look and an engine upgrade. However, there are still plenty of auto enthusiasts out there who enjoy tinkering with the outgoing model of the vehicle. One of them hit the legendary sport utility vehicle, which gave it a very unusual setup.
The popped Mercedes-AMG G63 shown in the picture above was made by digital artist Yasid Oozeear. Unity is a mere concept, but the rendering gives us an idea that such a configuration is possible.
The popped Mercedes-AMG G63 retained its boxy shape and retro-looking body panels. However, the artist gave it new large-lipped wheels while pushing its base closer to the ground. Extended fenders were also installed to support the car’s enlarged wheels. In addition, the turbochargers have been relocated, which means that the vehicle can accommodate larger turbo units.
“I never really accepted the Gwagon as a real off-road driver, although it can be fantastic. Maybe it just looks like I’m envisioning it as a would-be defender. But that’s just me Don’t kill me by email now, ”the artist said on the Instagram post the picture originally appeared on.
Most of us who have seen the G-Class cross rivers and dirt roads may disagree with Oozeear’s view, but he’s still entitled to his own opinion, so let’s just leave it there. Regardless of this, the popped Mercedes-AMG G63 will certainly attract attention when it is developed by one of the well-known Mercedes aftermarket tuners.
