Spy photos of a Mercedes-Benz SLK with light camouflage were recently discovered. The pictures were taken while the car was being tested.
The upcoming version of the SLK will be revised and given a new name
Since the areas covered indicate the parts of the convertible that are subject to change, the minimal upgrades would only mean that the existing model of the SLK is only going to get a facelift. The revised SLK is expected to be renamed the Mercedes-Benz SLC after its release new nomenclature system its manufacturer. Then there will probably be a model year 2016.
The camouflage of the Mercedes-Benz SLC is difficult to see due to the quality of the photos provided by GT Spirit and the use of a cover identical to the car paint. However, it looks like the front, which includes the headlights, bumper, and grille, has been redesigned. The taillights to the rear bumper also seem to be wrapped in camouflage. So expect updates to these components along with the exhausts too.
No photos of the interior were available. However, knowing how Mercedes pays special attention to quality, there will likely be more stylish leather finishes in the cabin later on.
The power supply
Under the hood, the German car manufacturer could drop the current unit of the SLK in favor of its new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
