The introduction of the EQT concept last month certainly redefines how we look at Mercedes-Benz Vans from now on. While there are already ways to equip the multi-purpose Sprinter and the V-Class with luxurious amenities and electric drive, Mercedes-Benz EQT stands out from the two in that it is marketed exclusively in the premium segment of the brand with three stars. It combines all the sensual charms and technologies of the luxury cars and SUVs of its manufacturer in the shell of a small van.
Like most Mercedes models, the production version of the EQT will likely differ slightly from its concept. That’s because concept cars focus mostly on aesthetics rather than practicality to generate a lot of hype. In the production version, however, the manufacturer tries to find a balance with its overall equipment.
Based on his concept, TopElectricSUV.com rendered what the EQT production version will most likely look like. The source combines the elements of the prototype with the design of the current EQ cars and SUVs and the Renault Kazoo ZE, which shares the same platform as the next-generation Citan.
The EQT rendering now takes over the standard door handles, radio antenna, side mirrors, roof rails, fender badges, windshield wipers, headlights, front bumper with wide air intake and alloy wheels. The graphic artist’s output gives a closer look at the showroom specification of the Mercedes-Benz EQT production model when it finally hits the market.
