The Mercedes-Benz A-Class and the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) are the focus of the brand’s latest commercial, “Say The Word”. This high-tech gateway limousine from the Mercedes-Benz model series was officially presented on February 3 in the Super Bowl in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The suggested retail price is $ 32,500.
The 60-second comedic commercial features stars like Atlanta-based award-winning rapper / actor Ludacris “Dirty South,” PGA Champion Rickie Fowler, the iconic Looney Tunes characters, movie and television legend Lassie, and a few more surprises .
The commercial, which aired in the second half of the big game, features an A-class owner making his way around town while things are happening around him, such as everyday dilemmas, sports results, and the fate of iconic pop culture characters .
Drew Slaven, vice president of marketing at MBUSA, said the MBUX will fundamentally change the way drivers interact with their cars. The brand new entry-level A-Class is the best model to highlight this experience. The fact that the A-Class will be priced at a more competitive $ 32,500 means that “People who didn’t think of Mercedes or thought they owned one will want to take a look a few years away. ”
“And given that we have the highest level of ownership loyalty in the industry, once these new buyers join the brand, they are likely to stay for some time – that’s why we’re debuting the world at one of the biggest stages in the industry.”
The MBUX interface consists of artificial intelligence that learns driver preferences and based on which tailor-made suggestions can be made, the language and intention to answer questions, augmented reality to superimpose navigation data on a wide-angle image of the road ahead, and more natural recognition Speech enables users to speak informally to the system.
The A-Class will soon arrive at Mercedes-Benz dealers.
