The Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series may be over a decade old, but its appeal doesn’t seem to be aging. Even now it is always impressive. From 2008 to 2011, only 350 copies of the car were made, of which 175 were shipped to the United States Hems in Miami, Florida.
The SL 65 Black Series is painted in steel gray. Its exterior is also highlighted by the new front lip, rear diffuser, engine cover and tailgate spoiler made of carbon fiber. In addition, it has two AMG performance exhaust openings, with bi-xenon headlights Active curve Lighting, silver-colored brake calipers, high-performance brakes and side fenders. The interior is now equipped with black Alcantara, carbon trim and special stitching on the seat covers.
The Black Series SL is powered by a handcrafted 6.0 liter twin turbo V12 with an aluminum block and heads. The powerplant produces 661 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, which propels the car from 0 to 100 mph in just 3.6 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 199 mph.
The Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series has just had two owners since it rolled out of the factory of the brand with the star. The vehicle only covered 11,200 miles on its watch and it includes a clean title, two master remote keys and an original window sticker.
The original MSRP of the device was $ 304,350, but the asking price on current sale is $ 397,500.
