The first entry of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan The AMG brand was discovered during testing. The features of the car suggest that it is the Mercedes-AMG A35 sedan model.
The espionage recordings of the AMG A35 sedan Motor1, show the vehicle only partially camouflaged. The roof, sides and trunk lid of the car are exposed. There doesn’t seem to be any point in hiding them anyway, as we’ve seen that before AMG A35 hatchback at the Paris Motor Show last month.
We expect the AMG A35 sedan to feature the same sporty improvements to the bumper, air intakes, side skirts, rear diffuser, twin exhaust pipes and wheels as the AMG A35 hatchback. The same applies to the interior of the sedan. So you can look forward to Artico leather / Dinamica microfiber seat covers with red stitching and a pair of 10.25-inch screens with MBUX system in the car.
The two AMG A-Class versions only mirror each other, with the exception of the respective rear part of each vehicle. That shouldn’t come as a surprise, after all, the two models are so closely related.
Similar to the AMG A35 hatchback, the same 2.0-liter in-line four-engine with turbocharger is located under the bonnet of the AMG A35 sedan. The device produces 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed dual clutch transmission is also connected to the vehicle’s all-wheel drive. It is estimated that the setup will start the car from 0 to 100 km / h in no less than 4.7 seconds.
Upon its release, the AMG A35 sedan will be followed by the more powerful AMG A45 sedan. According to insider sources, the device will be equipped with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission and generate more than 400 hp.
