Mercedes has already confirmed that the EQA will initially be introduced in Germany in the spring of this year. However, the leak lists the electrical crossover with a more accurate start date for March 2021. The EQS, on the other hand, is set to debut on April 27, 2021 before going on sale in June of this year.
Inspired by the Vision EQS concept, which was launched in Geneva back in 2019, the EQS will be the electric equivalent of the new S-Class and is expected to use a dual electric motor setup with around 469 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque offering a WLTP Range of over 435 miles. Several models with internal combustion engines will also be shown.
