The Mercedes-Benz star shone brightest again at the 2017 New York International Auto Show. The event saw two world premieres and two US debuts of its cars.
The two world premieres
The two vehicles of the German automaker that were presented to the world were the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 4MATIC and its more powerful version, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC. Each model was delivered with its respective SUV and coupe variants.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 4MATIC SUV and Coupé models are each equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. The device has an output of 476 hp.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC SUV and Coupé models each have the same twin-turbo V8 engine. However, the output of the S-trim is 510 hp.
The main features of the vehicles include air suspension with adaptive damping, all-wheel drive with variable torque distribution, a locking differential for the rear axle and a high-performance braking system. The AMG GLC SUV and Coupé models are also equipped with the brand new Panamericana radiator grille design that is featured in the new Mercedes-AMG GT vehicles.
The two US debuts
Then the success of the brand follows from the Geneva Motor Show 2017, unleashed it for the first time in the US Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet and the Mercedes-AMG GT concept.
