The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe may be in its last-minute rush as rumors surfaced last year of its deletion due to its manufacturer’s streamlining efforts. If that’s the case, then it’s possibly the strongest fairing, the facelifted Mercedes-AMG E53 Coupe, a fitting final greeting to the retreating body style.
The AMG E53 Coupé is characterized by its slim design, Panamericana front grille with vertical slats, thin LED headlights, long squinting taillights, huge air openings on each side of the front bumper, front spoiler lip, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, four-fold exhaust covers, and five double-spoke wheels, which are wrapped with sports tires. When you go inside, you see two large 12.3-inch displays with the MBUX infotainment system, tailor-made seats, turbine-inspired air conditioning nozzles, a panoramic roof and a leather-covered multifunction steering wheel.
Under the hood is a 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder with turbocharging, which can achieve up to 435 hp and 520 Nm of torque. All power is distributed to four-wheel drive via a nine-speed automatic transmission. When the EQ Boost is active, the mild hybrid setup accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the car’s top speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h.
The following video gives us a short tour through the various functions of the Mercedes-AMG E63 4MATIC + Coupé 2021 from outside to inside. As a bonus, we can also enjoy the car’s sweet six-cylinder engine sound when the presenter turns it.
