The Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain is based on the updated 2021 E-Class range, which means there are some changes in the exterior design. But it’s also easy to pick out the all-terrain from the rest of the E-Class package, whether it’s a car or not. It has a black matt body trim, a redesigned radiator grille, stylized underrun protection plates and its own headlight and taillight designs. Full-LED headlights are standard, multibeam LEDs are optional.
Mercedes’ goal was to give the all-terrain a distinctly SUV-like look. Note the chrome and gloss black trim on the front bumper. It also has its own grille design and rides on standard 19-inch alloy wheels with all-season run-flat tires. A set of 20 inch wheels is available.
The overall look is definitely more exciting than that of the E-Class car it replaces, but only time will tell whether customers are won over or not with this more adventurous look.
