A spy recording of the off-road vehicle model Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate from 2018, which is supposed to compete with the Audi A6 Allroad.
New espionage recordings show that Mercedes-Benz may be working on an off-road version of the E-Class T-model. The from a source shows a new E-Class station wagon with a higher ride height, suggesting that the star brand is likely working on a potential rival to the Audi A6 Allroad.
In summary, it can be said that the Audi A6 Allroad integrates elements of sport utility vehicles into a station wagon. The car is characterized by a slightly increased ride height, a bulkier body design, expanded wheel arches and new sports bikes.
Due to the increased suspension setting, the A6 Allroad has more agility, especially in curves. The feature also offers better handling. The same features can be found in the spy images of the upcoming version of the E-Class Estate.
Details about the upcoming SUV from Mercedes are still rare. So we still have no idea about the engine options. However, the report predicts that the vehicle will most likely carry the six-cylinder engine found in the high-end E-Class models. If so, it would give the E-Class terrain a chance to battle the A6 Allroad’s 3.0-liter V6 powerplant.
The Post claims that the Mercedes E-Class station wagon will be unveiled in the first half of September this year.
